We live in tense and distressing times. As COVID-19 increases its impact on the planet, we are being subjected to an unprecedented stream of information about the virus and how to contain it.
All this is valuable and much needed. But it has an unintended consequence: to raise the temperature of fear and panic – which is not helpful.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”
(2 Timothy 1:7).
We need to remember that, while it is prudent to put in place preventative measures, everything known about Coronavirus is still preliminary. The scientific understanding of how it is most easily transmitted and in what conditions it thrives are still being determined. For this reason, we are absolutely committed to adhering to the policies and guidelines as highlighted by President Cyril Ramaphosa. In light of this, TPI has assembled a Covid-19 Committee to help navigate this season safely and efficiently while maintaining our professionalism and service to our clients.
